The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) arrived in Haifa, Israel, June 21, 2018, for a scheduled port visit to enhance U.S.-Israeli relations as the two nations work together to strengthen regional security and stability.

The ship’s presence in the Mediterranean is a demonstration of our continued commitment to regional security.

“USS Donald Cook looks forward to Haifa Israel,” said Cmdr. Kelley Jones, executive officer of Donald Cook. “The Israeli's hospitality is always unmatched with their great food and rich culture.  The crew is also excited to give back to the community with the upcoming community relations event with Kiryat Yam youth.”

Strengthening partnerships during the port visit to Haifa demonstrates enduring relationships while seeking opportunities to enhance our interoperability.
