NSA Naples Remembers, Honors 9/11 Victims

The American and Italian flags flew side-by-side at half-mast at Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy, as American and Italian service members, firefighters, law enforcement personnel and civilians gathered together to commemorate the lives lost in the terrorist attacks against the U.S. on 9/11 17 years ago.

U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa Names Sailor of the Year

U.S. 6th Fleet begins participation in exercise Eastern Atlantic 2017

Naval forces from Germany, Norway and the United States began the German-led maritime exercise Eastern Atlantic 2017 (EL17), May 8, in the Norwegian Sea. EL17 is being hosted by the Norwegian Navy and is taking place May 8-26.

Chief of Naval Operations Visits Naples

NAPLES, Italy – Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. John Richardson visited Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples, Italy, Oct. 20, to meet with Sailors and answer questions at an all hands call during a scheduled visit to Europe. This is Richardson’s first time visiting Naples since taking over as Chief of Naval Operations Sept. 18, 2015. Chief of Naval Personnel Visits Naples

NAPLES, Italy – Chief of Naval Personnel, Vice Adm. Bill Moran, visited Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples, Italy, Oct. 14, to meet with Sailors and answer questions at an All Hands call in the hangar during a scheduled visit to Europe. Moran last visited 15 months ago, a span of time that has seen many changes in the 6th Fleet area of operations. Changes include Operation Atlantic Resolve, a demonstration of our continued commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to the enduring peace and stability in the region.
